SACRED HEART STUDENT LEARNING PACKS COMING HOME TOMORROW
26 Mar 2020
With quite a number of students not attending school at the moment, our dedicated teachers have put together a wonderful range of interesting and enjoyable learning experiences for your child to work on in the coming weeks. We really appreciate that your child's safety and well-being is you number one priority. We do not expect that all the tasks supplied are completed. Please feel free to use these resources to best support your child at this point in time.
The student packs include learning tasks, books and fun, practical activities covering a range of curriculum areas that will support your child's learning.
How will you receive your child's student pack?
If your child is at school tomorrow,he/she will bring it home with them at the end of the day.
If your child/ren are not at school tomorrow,we will have your child's student pack on their regular afternoon bus run. If you can be at their bus stop (at the normal time), you can collect your child's pack then.
If you would prefer to collect your child's pack from school tomorrow, please give the office a call in the morning.
Finally, all packs that are not distributed tomorrow will be left at the following locations(labelled with your child's name) ready for you to collect from Monday morning.
Huonville to Mountain River and surrounding areas - Collect from Duggan's Tyre Service - Main Road Huonville (next to Banjo's)
Franklin area - Collect from the Huon News - Huon Highway, Franklin

Please find attached the latest press release for Dr. Gerard Gaskin Executive Director of Catholic Education Tasmania.
Over the past few days, we have had a significant number of students away from school. If your child is presenting with a cold or influenza, they should remain at home until they have fully recovered and no longer contagious.
Please continue to support your child with encouraging good hygiene practices, especially with the washing of hands and coughing into their elbow.
Parents and guardians are advised that teachers will not be providing school work for your child to complete at home if you chose to keep your child away from school.
In the event of a school closure, the school will provide learning opportunities for your child to complete while they are at home.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and support during these challenging times. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate in contacting me.
