‘Ned’ Wins People’s Choice Award

Recently Sacred Heart Catholic School entered the Botanical Gardens Scarecrow competition.  Jack Ross McMullen, Lucy Cox (Grade 4), Harrison Johns and Lachlan Thompson (Grade 3) with the help of teacher, Michael Crawford and staff members, Scot McQueen and Isaac Dean created “Ned Kelly” the Scarecrow.  They did an amazing job working really well as a team.  All the scarecrows were displayed at the Botanical Gardens.  Not only did “Ned” frighten off all the birds, but he also “frightened” all voters into gaining their support!  “Ned” won the People’s Choice Award, which was a fantastic result.  Well done to our Scarecrow team!
